Certified and trusted cannabis and CBD advisor Peg Bascom will give a two-hour lecture to provide you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence you need to make informed decisions about cannabis purchases and consumption. Topics will include the difference between hemp, marijuana, and cannabis, the history of cannabis, the science of the endocannabinoid system, potential health benefits including recent scientific research, cannabis terms and safety, how to get your Virginia State medical cannabis card, and where to find carefully researched, trustworthy information. Free and open to all.
About the Speaker
Peg Bascom is the former owner/operator of Cannabis Wellness Tours in California, which she began after her husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and dementia.She is an advocate member of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians and has certified in multiple courses in their clinical training curriculum.
