Stay motivated to get moving, meet new people with similar goals and experiences, and take steps towards a healthier lifestyle by joining The Walking Club on Tuesdays, September 29 through November 3!
Sportable and Power Over Parkinson’s are proud to partner to provide a unique opportunity for health, fitness, and community designed exclusively for individuals living with movement disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease or stroke survivors.
Get outside at Deep Run Park, where there is ample parking, for a walk at your own pace along the scenic pond. The Walking Club is a great way to incorporate more activity into your routine, decrease social isolation, and get some fresh air. Whether you are looking for a leisurely walk, or to set a personal record, all ages, abilities, and paces are welcome!

Location:Â Deep Run Park - 9900 Ridgefield Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23233
Who: This program is designed exclusively for individuals living with movement disorders, including, but not limited to, Parkinson’s Disease or stroke survivors. Volunteers will be provided in a limited capacity; however, participants that require additional support should bring a care partner or support person. Social distancing and COVID-19 protocols will be in place and adherence to Sportable’s Five Point Safety Plan will be required.
