WHAT PEOPLE SAY
WARREN REDFERN
PARKINSON'S FIGHTER
Knowing that you don’t have to fight this disease alone is most important to me. Rock Steady Boxing gives one friendships that are real, as we fight this together. This program has also helped me with the mental and physical aspects such as improvement with balance and hand-eye coordination.
BILL COURSEY
PARKINSON'S FIGHTER
To coin a familiar phrase, "It takes a village to raise a child ", I have come to the realization that dealing with Parkinson's is a monumental task requiring the support and assistance of both those who also suffer from the disease and those dedicated to providing medical expertise. People say "misery likes company", but the fellow members of Rock Steady Boxing believe they are happier working out with others than living alone with the illness. I truly believe there is "strength in numbers", and with the help of organizations like Rock Steady and Power Over Parkinson's, the future is becoming brighter and more hopeful
JOE D'ORAZIO
PARKINSON'S FIGHTER
I feel power over Parkinson's Disease after I have attended a workout at Rock Steady Boxing. The workout strengthens my body physically and provides me with a sense of accomplishment over Parkinson's. The comradery of the Parkinson's exercise group provides a powerful impact on my mental state. It's a great group of people with one goal in mind....
